Easter with the Caseys

We have arrived!!!!!!!  Gwen, Wyatt, and I are back in Chicago and ready to celebrate Easter some more! 

Gwen and Lilly were all set to decorate the driveway for Bubba

Wyatt was helping too, but in his own space and then on the girls' space

Wyatt is inventing new ways to play with the "baby" toys now that he is such a big boy 

Gwen had an official appointment with Dr. Bubba to have her 1 year check up and her kindergarden check up. 

Gwen had a wonderful report which included 4 loose teeth!

Easter with the Tempels

Wyatt is learning new skills everyday!

Easter is almost here, however we needed to do some celebrating with the Tempels before the kids and I headed up to Chicago.  To start off the weekend of fun and Spring Break, Joey brought home a new herd of lambs!  As of this afternoon, there are 8 lambs, 25 kids (baby goats), the mama goats, and 2 billy goats!  That is a really big petting zoo!

Gwen and Wyatt spend time with the sheep after their move to Poppy's house. All are girls except 1, which Gwen has named Socksimus.

Gwen brought home a very special award last week from preschool!  She is so proud of herself! 

We were packed and ready to leave for Chicago, but stopped to give Gram a hand with a baby goat that needed some TLC.  After some work, a good hand washing, and some lunch ....we were on our way.

What's happening this week!

I'm am all caught up!!!!!!  Believe it or not, we are up to date with the blog!!!!!!  It has been a lot of hard work, but someone had to do it!  Gwen had to have surgery this morning the remove the tube in her right ear, so I had some time to work while I waited for her.  More about that in a minute, but first and update on our house!

The arches are now up!  Work is being done this week to get the porch finished and siding is starting to go up today! 

I met with the cabinet maker last Friday and finalized all the details! here is the sample of what our cabinets will look like-just imagine it being dark brown

Insulation is in!!!!  Finally our house will be warm!

Work by day, but play at night!  Who taught Gwen to Limbo????

Yes, Gwen is at the hospital again!  This time we had to have a tube removed because it just won't come out on its own.    They are taking the one out and patching the hole with a little fat from her ear--so we will have a little scab action for a few weeks.  The surgery went very well and she is back with me hanging out while we recover :-)  Gwen commented yesterday that this is her 5th date with Dr. Bob, and we hope that this is the last of our ear adventures!

It's Birthday Time!!!!!!!

March is our busiest time for birthdays in the Tempel house!  We started it off right with a big birthday bash while all the VIPs were together!  Carolyn fixed dinner and I made desserts!  I had a lot of fun being creative for everyone!
