Tons of Florida Fun!!!!!!!!

Last week we went on our first family vacation as a family of 4 to Ft. Meyers, Florida! It was so much fun. We went with Brad's family-everyone was there except for Joey's girlfriend, Whitney (who is spending her summer in Alaska doing an internship). It was great to all be together and to have such a grand adventure! There are tons of pictures so enjoy!

Florida, Here we come!!!!!
Gwen loved Wyatt's tent/bed. She even tried to get in it!
"I'm ready for the beach!"
"This is the life...the sound of waves, shade under my own umbrella, and a nap"
They were at it again building a castle at Ft. Meyers Beach
During a trip to the Everglades, Auntie Ashley got Wyatt smiling big time!
"Joey, the alligator is over there! Don't get too close!"
One of many alligators we spotted
"What do you think? I think I look a little like Sir Elton!"
"I think I look like a flamingo!"
Gwen won't get any closer to the alligator...she thought it was still alive just sleeping!
Brad, Gwen, and I went on an air boat ride through the Everglades and this guy and 2 of his buddies came a long for the ride!
Speeding through the Mangroves...
5 minutes in to the ride...
She woke up half-way through and loved it!
Wyatt loved hanging a the pool
Gwen liked the pool too...it was her beach
Wyatt was all smiles even when it was time for bed! Gwen just read him a story too :-)
We got to ride on a very nice boat while we were in Florida...
Wyatt and I chilling as we watched for dolphins
Gwen and Joey got the camera for a bit--this was one of many pictures...but at lease I can tell who the picture is of!
A dolphin!!!!!
We had lunch at a restaurant that had lots of wooden parrots all over
We even saw real pirates!
Gwen attempted a nap while heading back to the marina...it was a no go
Back at Ft. Meyers beach, some kids found this baby hammerhead shark!
"Do it again Joey!"
I don't know who was having more fun!
A day trip in Sanibel proved to still have tons of shells...Gwen loved picking them out to bring home.
Wyatt just loved being with everyone!
Hanging out after lunch was always fun, especially with Gwen as entertainment
"I'm attacked!!!!"
Gwen riding her own bucking bronco!
"Okay Gwen, now it is my turn!"
This says it all...we had a great trip and loved every minute! Gwen just couldn't make it awake to baggage claim once off the plane and the vacation ended...

June is flying by!

I can't believe it is June 16th already! Where is the time going? We have been trying to relax and stay busy at the same time...Here are some highlights:
After months of research and asking for many opinions, we finally decided on a double stroller! Gwen and Wyatt wanted to try it out before bed the night I put it together. So far it is proving to be amazing! We have taken it for walks and to Holiday World and we have loved it!
Wyatt went to Holiday World for the first time on Monday. It was a cooler day, but he still seemed to like to water.
Hot or cold...temperature doesn't matter to Gwen. She just loves playing in the water!
Wyatt getting his feet wet...by next week he will be all in the pool!
Gwen has been missing seeing Holidog at the park (honestly, I don't remember a time when we did see him in person), so we took a picture with his statue
Gwen has been loving swimming lessons...and she is as determined to have them rain or shine. It is hard to tell, but it was pouring down rain Tuesday during her lesson, but she was still in the water having a blast!
Gracie's 3rd birthday is Sunday!!!!! And since we can't make it to the real party, we threw her an early one!
Happy Birthday Gracie!!!!!
This morning was a very big morning for Wyatt. He had his allergy testing done today. He didn't seem too bothered by it though. They tested for dairy, soy, and eggs since those are the only ones I haven't introduced back yet. The results...he is allergic to egg whites! So we can slowly add soy and milk back into our diet (WOO HOO!!!!!) and we need to stay away from eggs, nuts, and shellfish (the last two because they are just not good for kids with known food allergies and we just want to be safe). I can handle this diet!!!!! Ice cream anyone!!?!?!?!?!?!
Gwen said "the chicken did it" when we told her about his allergy. Too funny.

Other mentionable quotes:
M: "Gwen do you want some Cheetos?"
G: "of course!!!!!"

G: "Mommy can you talk louder? I can't hear your voice." (when I had a sore throat last week and couldn't talk)

G: "Mommy where is Joey? What is he doing?"
M: "Joey lost a goat in the woods and he is looking for it" (which was true)
G: "He should look for footprints. That's how he'll find it."

She is jumping off the diving board (with some help) and going down the water slide!
This morning she even learned how to blow bubbles, float, and kick while on her back

Wyatt wants to tell you all something...
The highs here have been in the upper 90's already this summer...
Gwen showing off her new trick!

Gwen's recent noteworthy quotes:
-"Whatever Mom"
-"Why don't you know what I am talking about?"
-"No, I'm going to get fired!" (referencing touching a lighter that Joey was holding)
-"My ear was hurting when I went drinking last weekend"

Wyatt's Baptism

A lot has been going on lately here in Indiana. School finished May 31st (and not a moment too soon), so now I am home to be busy with my babies. Wyatt has been up to learning new tricks, he can roll from his front to his back on occasion, and now is trying to work his ab muscles to sit up on his own.
"Did someone turn on my favorite show! Let me sit up so I can get a better look"
He loves T.V. already too which isn't great, but we can work with it!
Gwen loves Wyatt to pieces
Wyatt is working on tummy time, but of course, he prefers his back and pulling his legs up and kicking things
Thank goodness Wyatt is a great sleeper because our house is rarely quiet. Even while he naps, Gwen turns into a fairy and has a dance show!
June 4th was Wyatt's baptism and we had company come in for the occasion! Bubba, Gammy, Auntie Erin, and Lilly came to play with us!
Everyone getting ready to head outside
Gwen wanted to show off her leading skills with Charlie Horse. I think there were too many people around, but Charlie wasn't wanted to walk with Gwen on Saturday.
Lilly was taking it all in. She was able to see real goats for the first time!
Wyatt was just loving getting some time outside with Auntie Ashley
Joey stacked hay bales in the barn almost to the ceiling! He even made a tunnel for Gwen to crawl through!
Gwen and Auntie Ashley getting ready for the baptism
The Caseys that were there
"I'm wearing Daddy's dress...I don't know what to think about this..."
The Tempels that were there (Ty was here too, but behind the camera)
" Baby Jesus and I love you Wyatt!"
During the baptism, the priest put oil on Wyatt's head and then had all of us smell the distinct smell. Gwen commented "Mommy, that is very stinky" When asked later about it, she replied, "No, Jesus wouldn't make Wyatt stinky."
Wyatt with his Godmother Ashley and Godfather Joey
"Gwen, you have amazing taste in jewelry!"
On your mark. Get set. Go!!!!!!!
Gwen loved showing Lilly Play Park!
"Lilly, this is how you fly to Chicago"
Just monkeying around!

It was a wonderful weekend and we are so happy that so many of our family could be there with us! Auntie Kelley and Uncle Don Don...you were there in spirit!!!! We love you all!
