Where, oh where, have the Tempels gone?????

We have had one of the craziest springs ever!  So much has happened, and blogging has been put on the back burner.  We really need to recap and catch up!  Let's start with March...

March 17th--All the family came over for a great birthday party to celebrate the March birthdays.  Birthday boys and girls included: Daddy, Poppy, Gwen, Ashley Beth, Wyatt, and Bubba!  Happy Birthday to all!

Our house sold!!!!!!  So, we got to move over Spring Break

My moving helper for the morning :-)  I think the highlight of the move was riding 4 blocks from our old house to the White House.  We are renting the first floor of one of our rental properties while we build a house this summer

Happy First Birthday Wyatt!!!!!!

Yes, our little baby boy is one today!!!!!  This year, has flown by despite all the excitement and events that Wyatt brought to it.  He has been such a blessing to our family!!!!  We are so lucky to have witnessed all the firsts he has accomplished already and are so proud of him.  He has some big shoes to fill with Gwen being his big sister, but I think he will take the challenge with a huge smile! We love you, Wyatt!!!!!!!

His most recent stats include:  height: 29 1/4 inches (26%ile), weight: 21 lbs 7 oz (29%ile), and head circumference: 44 3/4 cm (97%ile)

This week in March is something else!  To sum it up MasterCard style:

The number of cupcakes/cakes baked: 72 cupcakes and 1 cake

The number of times "Happy Birthday" has been sung this week: 12+ and still counting (that's a lot for 3 people in my house and 2 not in my house)

The number of pictures taken this week: 298 (between my camera and Carolyn's)

The smiles on Brad's, Gwen's, and Wyatt's faces: PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to Gwen and Poppy!!!!!!  Gwen loved her party tonight and I think Poppy did too!  It is amazing how time has flown by...it really doesn't feel like she should be turning 4!  We will do an interview soon and we'll see what her favorites are now :-)

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Happy Birthday, dear Daddy!!!!!  Today Brad turned 29!  His birthday present to himself...a 1979 Suzuki motorcycle that he is going to have as a hobby (it doesn't run at the moment).  But, that didn't stop Gwen from wanting to try it out!  She even tried out the "mini bike" that Brad road as a very little kid.  Brad hopes to have it back in perfect riding condition by Gwen's 6th birthday (I will not allow her on it until then....and maybe not even then...we'll see).

Poppy also bought some ducklings this weekend and they have been all the kids are thinking about!

I went all out and made Brad Mountain Dew cupcakes!  They were yummy!

Gwen couldn't just sing to Brad...She really wanted to help practice her candle blowing skills. 

Wyatt didn't know what to think of the icing off the cupcake (the only egg free part), but he decided that it was worth getting more after the first bite!

Wyatt can say Duck!!!!!! He now says "mama", "dada", and "duck duck"

Gwen's birthday skirt came today...it needed to be tried out she said.  I think the skirt is a winner!!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We wish all of you a very Happy Valentine's Day!  Gwen loved handing out (and receiving) valentine's at the babysitter's today!  She couldn't wait to do it again when she got home, and she can't wait to do it again at preschool tomorrow!  Tonight we made special Valentine's Day cupcakes from her Princess Cupcake Cookbook :-)  I love making cupcakes with Gwen!  Wyatt enjoyed watching all the action in the kitchen from his highchair.

Almost 4 and moving to a booster seat!  Check it out!  It has cup holders!

With such warm winter weather, the bikes have been out and having fun!  Wyatt has learned how to sit on the tricycle while I push!  So much fun!

With booster come boxes...with boxes comes endless possibilities!   Gwen and Wyatt enjoyed playing with the boxes and using them for forts :-)

I've mastered the zippy cup!  I can even drink it sitting down!
