Fun, Fun, and more fun!

What did you do?  There is yogurt and cereal everywhere and a train?
Gwen and her buddy Tait enjoyed going to Cinderella together
Gwen thought that she met the real Cinderella...what will we do when we go to Disney World some day?
The boys chilling at Holiday World
Another beautiful day at the pool
Ready? Set? Go!!!!!!

Another great visit with friends

One great visit after another :-)  We had Jenn, Andy, and their baby Adelaide come for a visit the next weekend. We loved getting to see how big Adelaide has gotten and how much she is able to do now!
Gwen loved getting to cuddle with her every chance we gave her.

We took Jenn and Andy for a drive to see where our house will be....it looks so different than just a few weeks ago
Gwen wants to be just like Jenn and carry Mia around
Just hanging with the girls!
Apparently Jenn looked like a great horse!
Hey there Adelaide!  Having a great time hanging out with Gwen and Wyatt
Jenn isn't a real horse, but this one is...maybe I can ride him!
Come on Adelaide!  You can do it!  (almost crawling)
Another cuddle moment
Outside!  Let's go!  (Wyatt's favorite phrases!)
Off on a trip to the park at Lincoln
They must have been really bad, they look like they are in jail
Gwen and sand are like magnets...they are always finding each other
Such a fun weekend together!

Mimi and Bubba visit for the weekend

After the 4th of July, we had a Casey visit to look forward to!  We hurried to clean the house, pick up all the toys, and make a mess again.  Why is it when you are tying to clean, a mess appears right behind you?  For every toy I picked up, I think 4 made it onto the floor from out of nowhere!  At least it kept us busy!
Wyatt was so excited that Mimi and Bubba were coming, he stole Gwen's twins and hid....not much of a hiding place!
Quality time with Bubba
No rain for so long, but it had to come as soon as we parked at Holiday World!  Plan B....swimming at the hotel where Mimi and Bubba are staying:-)  We had it all to ourselves while the rain came down outside
Holiday World would have been fun, but this is great!
Lilly, here is us making your chalk!
Waiting for it to dry...
Testing out the coolest science project ever!!!!!  We hope you liked coloring with your chalk too!
Our favorite part of swim lessons...the slide!
Gwen being brave-she jumped off the board all by herself!!!!!!!

Rain!?!?!?!?!?!

All craziness came out when we actually go some rain!  You would think my children had never seen wet ground before.  After having to stay inside due to Wyatt's Poison Ivy and the unbearable heat, I just had to let them play and get absolutely disgusting!

However....I did have to give them a really good bath afterwards!!!!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!!

4th of July week was one of the hottest weeks of the summer!  Of course, it also was the week that the trailer on our future home's property was finally disappearing.  We hired a few guys from about an hour away, and let's just say they are some of the roughest country men I have ever met!  It was a mix of a 75 year old man from somewhere in Kentucky with a very thick accent, no teeth, and a pacemaker, his son who barely spoke a word, and a grandson in his mid 30s all covered in tattoos. I could barely understand any of them, but they came with a recommendation and a will to work.  Despite the heat, this is the trailer after a few days on the job.  They were taking it apart piece by piece to sell everything they could.

A few more days and more progress....
This was a great site to see at the beginning of their 2nd week! The rest of the job was clean up at this point.
A little play time prior to a much needed cooling and fun swim lesson
While the guys at the trailer were hard at work and sweating like crazy...Gwen, Wyatt and I were chilling at swim lessons:-)
Wyatt loved Gwen's swim lessons too...it was a time for him to play at the playground and swim in the baby pool
A year later and Amber (Gwen's swim teacher) picked up where they left off together the year before.
Look Mom!  I'm gonna touch it!
All cool from swimming, we usually headed back to check out how progress was coming at the land.  This particular day was a very special treat....
The land was getting cleared!!!  Since we are planning to build at the back of the lot, we had to clear away some of the woods where the house will eventually sit.
By early afternoon, the trees were cleared and this is what it looked like:-)
Happy 4th of July!!!!!!!!!!!
Who isn't glad to have a digital camera...otherwise this may have been the 4th of July pic of the year!
